We’re looking for an enthusiastic Office Assistant oriented to Sales for a shipping supply company. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, customer service experience, and sales’ focused permanent position orientation. The environment is friendly.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of secretarial and receptionist support for the company. Your responsibilities will include providing customer service and support, answering telephones, record keeping, and filing. This position is also responsible for all tasks involved in smooth daily operations.

Position: Office Assistant Sales Oriented

Schedule: Full time Monday - Friday – 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer customers inquires in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Daily handling paperwork (orders, receiving payments, filing, and deposits).
  • Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling.
  • Providing pricing quotations and follow-up on quotes.
  • Providing basic technical support on products.
  • Other duties as required.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Strong telephone and customer service skills with a friendly, professional response, and sales orientation.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quick Books
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and be flexible.
  • Maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Work independently with little direction.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.


  • Should possess customer service experience in a sales environment.
  • Product knowledge or industry experience is preferred.
  • An administrative background with a sales background is an asset
  • Spanish is an asset.
