We currently have a Regular Full-time opportunity for a Senior Audiologist in the Audiology Department at our Bayview Campus.
Weekdays: Days, 8 hrs; As per schedule
Summary of Duties
As the senior audiologist your duties will include (and not limited to):
- Overseeing the day-day clinical activities of the Audiology clinic;
- Routine audiological diagnostic assessments;
- Hearing aid evaluations, aural rehabilitation, evoked potential audiometry and vestibular testing in primarily an adult population;
- Involvement in teaching of medical students, Otolaryngology Residents, graduate Audiology or Speech and Language Pathology students;
- Interest and experience in quality improvement projects and practice-based research preferred;
- Management of demonstration hearing aids and accessories;
- Being up to date with the latest technologies;
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills
- Master’s Degree in Audiology required;
- Registration with CASLPO required;
- Minimum 3 years clinical audiology experience;
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proven ability to operate effectively as a team member with minimum direction;
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment;
- Commitment to integrating Patient-Focused Care principles into professional practice.
