We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Drywall Foreman to join our team. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading a team of drywall professionals, ensuring the highest level of quality workmanship, and maintaining a tight schedule. A thorough understanding of of job process and sequencing is required.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of drywall professionals, assigning tasks, and providing guidance as needed.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project managers to ensure work is completed on schedule and to required specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to drywall installation and finishing, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify solutions.
- Maintain a high level of quality workmanship, adhering to project specifications and standards.
- Train and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Organizing manpower and providing them with everything required to complete the scope of work.
- Basic computer skills- Emails, excel spreadsheets/google sheets etc.
- Ability to tape, board bead and steel frame when needed is an asset.
- Track changes and extras and ensure job efficiency.
- Enforcing safety procedures and WCB requirements.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the drywall industry, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, site supervisors, and project managers.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a tight schedule and adhere to project deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience with metal framing, taping, and finishing is required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
