1 ‑ Full Time ‑ Admin Assistant

Oncology Program Management ICP

Under the direct supervision of the Director ‑ Regional Cancer Care, with matrix reporting to the Director ‑

Cardiovascular & Stroke Program, this position will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative services

in keeping with the confidential and strategic nature of the position.

Qualifications:
  • Secondary school degree or diploma
  • Diploma in Office Administration and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Minimum of 2 ‑ 3 years experience in an office environment performing administrative duties
  • Minimum of 55 wpm
  • High‑level proficiency in computer software, specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project and
Visio

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi‑task, effectively balancing competing priorities and tight timelines
  • Proven ability to perform work in an organized, independent manner and the ability to work under pressure,
prioritize work on a daily basis and maintain confidentiality

  • Possesses tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with staff, physicians, clients and the public.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when there are special events that require administrative

support (including conferences, regional engagement sessions)

  • Strong, proactive organizational skills
  • Strong initiative and independent decision making skills
