Our Story

Since 2002, MindBeacon Group has been a leading provider of in-person, face-to-face Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) through our network of clinics across the Greater Toronto Area. In 2017, our team of in-house clinical experts, in collaboration with global thought leaders and researchers developed BEACON, an innovative, and fully digital experience to delivering and measuring outcomes of CBT. BEACON uses best practices in digital therapy to provide therapist assisted, internet-delivered CBT (TAiCBT) and other services. At BEACON, we are on a mission to respond to the gaps in mental health care across Canada, by providing effective, evidence-based digital mental health care that is affordable and accessible to all Canadians.

BEACON has demonstrated, in real world settings, to be as effective as traditional face-to-face treatment, while providing it in a more timely and efficient manner. Individuals that have used BEACON reported strong positive perception of the program’s impact on their quality of life and on program experience. At BEACON, we are leading innovation that allows people and populations to access effective mental health care in ways that overcome geographical, time and financial barriers to care.
