Since 2002, MindBeacon Group has been a leading provider of in-person, face-to-face Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) through our network of clinics across the Greater Toronto Area. In 2017, our team of in-house clinical experts, in collaboration with global thought leaders and researchers developed BEACON, an innovative, and fully digital experience to delivering and measuring outcomes of CBT. BEACON uses best practices in digital therapy to provide therapist assisted, internet-delivered CBT (TAiCBT) and other services. The Role
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will own recruitment strategy and execution, people data and support on various Human Resources initiatives. While the role will initially focus strongly on recruitment, it may evolve into more of a Generalist role in the future.

What You Will Do

75% Recruitment

Develop a comprehensive recruitment strategy and manage its execution by leveraging best practices in hiring and market specific industry trends
Achieve high-volume recruitment targets across all areas of the business
Make MindBeacon an employer of choice by bringing new ideas to keep recruitment strategies current and ensure quality candidate experience
Identify and execute various sourcing techniques like direct sourcing, referral programs, social media, career fairs, etc.
Draft job descriptions by working closely with team leads
Review and screen incoming resumes
Conduct interviews
Draft and negotiate contracts
Onboarding administration
Manage recruitment budget, cost per hire, quality of hire

10% HRIS Maintenance (BambooHR) & Reporting

Input, audit and report on recruitment and new hire information
Create reports for team leads and senior management

15% Support HR initiatives

Policy creation and compliance
Engagement and retention
Health & Safety
Employer Distinction Awards submissions
Other initiatives, as required

Who You Are:
University or College degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline
5+ years of high-volume recruitment experience
2+ years of HR Generalist experience
Working knowledge of federal and provincial legislation
Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal skills
High emotional intelligence
Strong data analytics skills
Works well under pressure

Great to Have

Experience recruiting mental healthcare professionals (Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychotherapists)
Experience recruiting software engineers (Full Stack/Front End Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists)
Experience working in both agency and start-up environments

Note on COVID-19
Given the current situation with COVID-19, this position will likely start as a remote position. Your training and onboarding as well as ongoing work will be a bit different than usual. We strive to maintain a collaborative atmosphere through use of virtual software. You should expect, at least at the beginning, that your work will be done from home. When the physical office does re-open, we will communicate about a return to work plan.
