As our Regional Operations Manager - Ontario and Quebec you will be responsible for coordinating and assigning the daily operational work of our distribution warehouses in Halton Hills and Montreal, as well as managing personnel and equipment and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
As our Regional Operations Manager, we need your in-depth knowledge of operations, customer focus, and sound business acumen to:
Coordinate warehouse activities, including but not limited to shipping, receiving, inventory control and oversees the maintenance of all warehouse equipment.
Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, skill enhancement, and development of warehouse hourly and management employees; and developing management for next level leadership positions
Responsible for warehouse safety programs, in accordance with OSHA local regulations.
Manage schedules, budgets and workflow to ensure a productive, safe, and cost-efficient operation.
Drive and standardize operational excellence throughout warehouse operations using LEAN practices; development and/or adopt “best-practice” standard operating procedures to reduce process variance across the regions and in order to keep all SGA costs controlled.
Responsible for inventory management, assortment planning oversight, and leading the warehouse operations management team.
Collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing teams to minimize costs and maximize profit.
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
You have 5-7 years of professional experience and knowledge of warehousing, logistics, and supply chain principles and processes
Parlez-vous français? You must be bilingual and demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and French.
You are proficient in coaching, developing and motivating teams
You have knowledge of and experience in LEAN and business improvement processes
You have strong experience in customer service and troubleshooting
You have exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
You have a “Can Do” attitude and approach
