We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Mechanics Helper to join our team. As a Mechanics Helper, you will provide valuable support to our skilled mechanics and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our operations. The right candidate is confident, follows direction well, and has a desire for continued growth and development within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve tools, parts, and equipment as needed, ensuring they are readily available for the mechanics.
- Clean and organize the work area, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Perform cleaning procedures on trucks, interior and exterior
- Assist mechanics in performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Organize various tools and equipment, implementing efficient storage solutions and establishing a logical organizational system
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Previous experience or training in a mechanic-related field is preferred
- Basic tool and mechanical knowledge an asset
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
