Job Description

How You Will Contribute
The Enterprise Enabling Technology Services (EETS) team is the primary provider of technology services to the corporate areas across TD Bank. EETS also provides application shared services both to the bank’s business units and corporate areas. Responsible for driving the corporate technology strategy, EETS delivers short and long-term technology solutions to internal business partners, while consistently meeting the needs of the bank.

Within EETS, the Delivery Shared Services (DSS) team is responsible for the provision of project, program and portfolio management services in support of corporate initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Program & Portfolio Analyst, the Project Coordinator position provides a broad range of administrative support and coordination on project related activities / tasks for the Portfolio Analyst Centre of Excellence.

Accountabilities

The general accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Provides specialized project administration, coordination, methodology compliance, and basic analytical support for a Project / Program / Portfolio or Project Management Office (PMO)
Time horizon and nature of work is focused on day to day or weekly activities and department specific issues
Works within fairly well defined guidelines and procedures and escalates issues to management as necessary
Typically works in support of Project Management or Portfolio Management roles

This position will be located in Toronto, ON.

Job Requirements

What You Bring to TD

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree majoring in relevant technology programs, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, Business Technology Risk Management, Financial Analysis and Risk Management, Computing, etc.
Basic knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools is an asset
Experience working in a large matrix organization is an asset
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Logical and analytical individual who is able to apply problem solving techniques
Ability to receive sound instruction and complete independent research in a timely fashion
Experience in the Financial Services sector is an asset
Knowledge of productivity and PM tools (MS Office PC software applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is an asset
Relevant university program or equivalent work experience is an asset
