The Bilingual Packaging Purchasing Buyer is responsible for Canadian Flexible material sourcing with procurement work and category projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing projects which may include market analysis, RFX process, negotiations, contract initiation, and contract management.
Develop strong relationships with internal Business partners and other stakeholders, ensuring that Procurement offers support as needed.
Help drive cost-saving initiatives to align with company goals
Identify and gain alignment to pursue new savings or value add opportunities
Assist in Contract Renewals
Participate in internal demand management and partner with suppliers to add value and achieve continuous improvement
Complete analysis that supports assigned projects assessing industry factors, financial impact, risk and overall business decision, outlining the strength of the opportunity
Be able to determine total cost of ownership for products and services procured
Demonstrate a bias toward action and ability to work autonomously
PO creation, Vendor review/approval, and PO reconciliation as needed
Demonstrate an ability to have a sense of urgency when needed and know how to escalate internal when required
Travel as business needs dictate (limited)

Minimum Qualifications:
BS or BA in Procurement, Supply Chain or other business- related field
2-3 years’ relevant procurement experience
Business experience with one or more targeted products/services
Negotiation skills
Analytical thought process
Team player with the ability to work cross functionally
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office and GSuite a plus)
MUST be bilingual in French and English )

Desired Qualifications:
Experience working within Packaging Procurement
Experience working for a Consumer Packaged Goods company
