RRSP Program
The Service Advisor brings to life the Automotive Service Experience for the Customer through building strong relationships with customers. You would be responsible for creating great first impressions and to guide customers through the maintenance scheduling process and repair of their vehicles. To be successful, you need to be an expert listener, have an eagle eye for the details, strive to be a product knowledge expect, and be a master at executing all the service processes with due diligence.

Develop strong relationships with the customer by establishing ongoing consulting relationships with customers and by making each customer interaction personalized.

Address customer questions/needs promptly and professionally, schedule appointments based on service calls, handle customer complaints and ensuring high customer satisfaction standards.

Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with Acura specifications and assists with booking future appointments based on their specifications.

Perform a consultative vehicle re-delivery with the customer when work is completed. Prior to the re-delivery, ensures the vehicle is clean and that all items identified for service/repair have been carried out appropriately and on schedule.

Write and verify accurate repair orders and review all copies, including supporting documentation before providing to the Technician. Ensures customer receives the claim check.

Coordinate with the Parts & Service Manager, or other service personnel and communicate with customers and technicians regarding repair work. Determine the duration required for work completion.

Check on progress of repairs throughout the day. Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explain costs and time requirements in details, and receive proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.

Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding Acura Sherway’s specifications, services and products.

Completion of post secondary school in Automotive or a related field.

Has a fundamental understanding of automotive mechanical fundamentals.

Flexible and open to change; takes on special tasks as needed.

Must be Results oriented and accountable.

Proven ability to be a problem solver and critical thinker.

Class G Ontario driver’s license.

Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.

Must be punctual, reliable and independent.

Team player, quick thinker, and able to multi-task.

Must be available to work on Saturday’s and evenings
