KPMG Canada is looking to hire an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong coaching background to join Ignition Tax. You will lead the design and architecture of applications coaching a team of more junior developers to engineer, scale, and optimize applications.

What you will do:
Translation of functional and non-functional requirements into a solution architecture
Identify a pragmatic approach to fill out gaps to complete end to end solution design
Identify and mitigate plans for any risks associated with the Solution Architecture deliverables and overall stability of applications
Capture the solution architecture in design artifacts
Assess proposed changes against the architecture to assess feasibility and understand the effect on the solution, data collection and interfaces
Develops design principles, policies and guidelines governing implementation of the solution
Determines the effect of solution alternatives on IT costs and formulates an advice with regard to the decision to be taken
Maintains and develops knowledge of the solution architecture discipline
Creation of estimates for potential solutions for clients
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline
Expert knowledge across technology architecture domains and practices; capable of driving from strategy to architecture to design & implementation
At least 10 years of application development experience
5+ years of Solution Architect experience
Proficiency building web applications using AngularJS, React, Vue.JS, and or Bootstrap
Experienced with back-end technologies like Node.JS, Python, Java and Django
3+ years of experience in mainstream cloud services (preferably Azure)
