We are seeking a Field Coordinator for our Winnipeg District , Sudbury Office located in Sudbury, Ontario .
Conducts basic safety inspections and training, identifies hazards and corrections.
Assists with third-party inspections and site reviews.
Assists superintendent with workforce planning.
Prepares quantity takeoffs as directed for production analysis, material orders, etc.
Conduct quantity surveying, quantity review and system input.
Assists in monitoring quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
Assists project coordinators with trade contractor management, including requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, changes, and billings.
Assists with schedules, materials and equipment inventory.
Assists with documentation of performance (production, progress) commodity curves—collection, weekly productivities.
Assists with tracking cost and quantity.
Assists with engineering of temporary works for self-perform scopes.
Conducts simple quality inspections.
Assists with updating drawings and specifications.
Liaises with trade contractors, consultants, designers, engineers.
Develop and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
Other duties as required.
Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline: construction management, engineering, architecture.
1-2 years of progressive experience in a construction-related discipline.
Ability to learn, understand, and/or apply basic construction specifications and principles to problem solve.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple supervisors and sub-trades.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and construction-related software .
