How You Will Contribute
This position is with the Enterprise Protect Technology Risk Management & Information Security (TRMIS) team, who directs and supports TD Bank in the protection of its information assets through the implementation of appropriate information security policies, standards and procedures and provides the enterprise with integrated security technologies, strategies, services, and solutions.
The Endpoint Governance Team within TRMIS is responsible for defining, monitoring, and reporting on the status of security controls on endpoints (including servers, workstations, mobile devices, and other non-traditional IT) across the Enterprise.
The Endpoint Governance Team is further responsible for protecting the Bank, customers and employees by, among other things, identifying emerging threats, assessing control postures, identifying gaps, and providing mitigation advice to TD Senior Management. Through the development of effective control programs, EPG helps ensure TD’s best-in-class cyber security approach.
This position is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
What You Bring to TD
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree and majoring in a technology-related program, such as Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, Computing, etc.
Working knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies, including vulnerability assessment tools such as Qualys, and associated result analysis
Understanding of vulnerability analysis, including Common Vulnerability Enumeration (CVE) methodology and terminology
Understanding of modern malware techniques and threats
Experience with the following technology components: o Vulnerability Management, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Content Filtering, Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus
Work experience with vulnerability assessment tools like Qualys, Foundstone, Rapid7, Nessus and similar.
Knowledge of Network Technologies (routers, switches, wireless)
Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 workstation and Microsoft Office
Microsoft SQL Server and C# scripting experience would be an asset
Work experience with profiling systems and application, identifying threats, and developing test cases to target identified threats.
Understanding of risk and control concepts.
Working knowledge in cryptography technologies, PKI, CA, Symmetric/Asymmetric keys, key and certificate management.
Ability to understand technical aspects of NIST, CSEC, ISO27000 standard and recommendations.
Ability to understand, review and advise on secure hardening guides.
Ability to perform analysis and reporting of information from multiple data sources using data mining technique for the purpose of documenting analysis results, produce report and present to technical and executive stakeholders.
Understanding of Security principles, techniques and technologies such as SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST Cyber-Security Framework.
Basic programming skills in various disciplines including scripting languages
Linux and Windows Server Administration skills
Basic Database and database query skills
Knowledge of Enterprise Operations would be an asset
Basic Knowledge of Infrastructure Architecture and Design Knowledge
