What’s the ask?
Reporting to the Vice President, Wealth Management, you will be an integral member of our team responsible for generating new sales and supporting the service needs of new and existing clients from an assigned block of business, in collaboration with associates working in other areas of specialization.

Key responsibilities:
Proactively sourcing new business, managing clients and ultimately growing a solid client base.
Develop and build relationships with new and existing clients as well as internal and external referral sources and centers-of-influence.
Develop an understanding of each client’s needsusing a holistic planning approach to identify, recommend and implement the most suitable financial solutions;
Understand and adhere to all regulatory and compliance operating standards.

What does it take?

You’re a self-motivated, service-oriented individual with a passion for sales;
You have a track record of building and growing a profitable investment portfolio;
You love networking in community and industry association events;
Minimum of 3 years previous hands on financial planning experience;
Mutual Fund License required;
Life License or willingness to obtain;
Meet all provincial licensing requirements including continuing education requirements;
University Degree/College Diploma;
Ability to grow the business in a sales/business development capacity;
Excellent organizational, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills;
Excellent communication skills;
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands;
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail;
Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM and financial planning software.
