As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:

Develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in business's area.

Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Manage/update risk and control framework in line with PwC firm and operating unit risk appetite

Work with internal risk and analytics teams to align to PwC overall risk framework

Validate/test controls

Monitor and validate enforcement of controls

Manage risk operating structure

Perform risk assessments and facilitate conversation with internal and external risk and quality teams on the outputs

Complete project risk and quality reviews as required:
Design of risk mitigation approaches/mitigation plans/evaluating options

Manage quality and integrity of the risk register

Maintenance of risk governance processes and procedures

Provide engagement oversight on risk mitigation initiatives (tracking execution and reporting progress)

Work with internal and external stakeholders on risk reviews

Help sustain PwC Quality Management System (QMS) supporting SOC2 reporting

Requirements:
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

1-3 years' experience working with risk and controls in cybersecurity

Preferred degrees include a Bachelors of Business/Accounting/Risk Management/Audit

Preferred certification in CRISC

Designing and implementing an overall risk management process, which includes an analysis of the financial impacts on the company when risks occur

Performing risk assessments: Analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company

Performing risk evaluations base previous risk mitigation approaches, company's risk appetite based on costs, legal, regulatory and other requirements, evaluating the company’s previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements

Managing and prioritizing risks based on firm policies and procedures, establishing new baselines where required, establishing the level of risk the line of business and firm are willing to take

Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience

Tracking and testing controls e.g. creating/enhancing business continuity plans to limit risks

Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors

Reviewing any new major key contracts or internal business proposals

Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company
