Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Dealer Operations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for all operational matters of the Acura Dealer Business in order to strengthen and support the brand while ensuring attainment of all Key Performance Metrics, dealership profitability, customer satisfaction and lifetime owner loyalty. The Dealer Operations Manager will be the front line contact and the key liaison with the Dealer Network to ensure the overall objectives of Acura are achieved and protected.

Support and direct individual Sales processes to achieve minimal market share levels and RSO attainment
Assist dealers with sales and marketing including strategies, budget, advertising plans, and developing recommendations for countermeasures.
Provide guidance with inventory management and control by, monitoring wholesale vehicle inventory levels.
Analyze, drill-down and provide guidance for opportunities within a Dealerships KPI’s while documenting within the Dealership Information Network (DIN)
Provide quick and efficient support for the Dealer Network while ensuring the smooth and timely flow of information to the National office
Develops dealer Human Resource requirements by ensuring dealer attainment of training participation targets, assessing dealer staff capability and training requirements to minimize staff turnover rates
Ensure that all customer point of contacts meet the Acura Brand Standards.
Evaluate dealership facilities and makes recommendations
Provide bi-monthly meetings with the Acura Association to discuss inventory, tactical advertising and medium support
Review and approve all Coop and Advertisements to ensure compliance
Support in-person initiatives / activities / events to ensure they are in line with Acura and further strengthen the Brand
Publish bulletins and discuss initiatives to ensure to incorporate all dealers for greater overall results
Weekly review of Coop claims, Exception request and Association approvals.
Monthly drill-down and review of dealerships financial statements to investigate opportunities.
Review, discuss and implement Action Plans with Dealer Principals to ensure buy-in and higher ROS.
Monthly meetings with Acura Financial Services (AFS), District Manager of Customer Service and Used Vehicle Consultant to ensure one-voice and adequate dealership support
Weekly / monthly review of action plans to ensure progress and a viable dealership network
Improve on Underperforming / Monitor Dealers (Focus)
Ensure all dealers maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention (LOL)

University/College degree/diploma in Business or an automotive related discipline.
Several years’ experience in Management in the automotive field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Wholesale sales experience is required.
Knowledge of Honda products and retail and wholesale businesses is required.
Must have excellent PC skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Must entail strong presentation and communication skills. Written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Ability to lead a team, be a strong mentor, and implement effective department structure and strategy.
Ability to display leadership, initiative, integrity, and strong attention to detail.
