Commercial Account Manager (CAM) will sell company’s products and services by interacting with commercial business customers and developing new relationships. This individual will work to develop long-term relationships with Customers via commercial maintenance contracts and put company in a position to help the customer with their HVAC needs. Position requires a broad knowledge of company’s services, products and marketing techniques. The individual will be working out of the Cambridge office, with expectancy to be present in the Brampton location once a week.

Experience/Background:
A successful individual in this position will be a self-starter with strong degree of organizational skills, a positive mental attitude, and someone who has the ability to get along with people and develop positive relationships in a short period of time.

Responsibilities:
Utilizes effective sales techniques, including networking and “cold calling"
Develop new accounts for commercial maintenance, service, retrofit and replacement business.
Actively manages and maintains relationships with strategic commercial customers and supports the ongoing relationships with these clients.
Ensures that the customer receives consistent service delivery in all locations.
Utilizes the assessment tool and other relevant systems and information, prepare the proposal for the commercial customer. Explain technical information to the customer in an easy-to-understand language.
Prepares and presents service contracts for new customers and updates renewal contracts for existing customers.
Enters new customer data and other sales data for customers into contact database.
Prepares weekly reports of contracts sold, details of business transactions and customers contacted.
Confers with owners of existing buildings and inspects premises to determine installation or service requirements.
Presents bid to customer and explains credit terms, cost factors, emphasizing quality, performance and service.
Coordinates transition from new commercial installation customer to ongoing maintenance/service customer by meeting with owner and preparing proposals to meet their ongoing HVAC needs at project completion.
Contacts owners periodically to advise of progress of work and resolve any service problems.
Contacts property owners and construction agents of prospective customers to obtain information on building specifications and submits information to commercial sales/estimating department.
Lead generation system for prospective customers for use as sales leads based upon information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites and other sources.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.

Commercial Account Manager Team (CAM) Process:
Make contact with new and existing customers and get permission to do survey of HVAC equipment.
Do building survey (take pictures if necessary), prepare proposal.
Meet with decision-maker at customer place of business, review proposal with features and benefits.
Ask for the decision.
Make Targeted number of maintenance agreement proposals/presentations per week.
Follow up, follow up, follow up.
Maintain a daily log of leads for review with sales manager. Report spreadsheets weekly vs. budgeted numbers.
Stay in contact with your Accounts to make sure we are filling their needs and that they’re happy with our services. Handle customer issues and resolve discrepancies.
Review customer base and make presentations to customers that company has previously worked for but do not have Maintenance Agreements.
Review your Accounts previous day’s service tickets; Follow up on recommendations from Service Technicians.
A/R responsibility.
Work for continuous improvement in HVAC knowledge of systems and resolution to customer comfort challenges.
Contact prospective customers that we would like to work for. Target customers with Older equipment, Indoor Air Quality needs, Zoning opportunities, etc.
Contact large mechanical companies that don’t do service and work up program to get their customers to set up on maintenance.
Work as a team member of the CAM team, to meet monthly and annual sales goals.
Attend sales meetings with CAM team.
Be available from 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday to run leads and take calls.

Health & Safety Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead by example by coaching and supporting the health and safety program within your area of responsibility.
Review your area(s) specific accident trends with the worker selected as the Health & Safety representative / leader to identify areas of opportunities for improvement
Review on an annual basis with the workers their responsibilities and measure their performance against these responsibilities on an on-going basis.
Conduct information sessions (safety talks, staff meeting, tool box talks) as prescribed by the company program(s) or procedure(s)
Attend safety committee or Centre safety meetings as prescribed by the company program(s) or procedure(s).
Correct or provide the resources to correct substandard acts or conditions that may come to light whether identified by a subordinate or personally.
Conduct or provide resources to conduct health & safety training as prescribed by the company program(s) or procedure(s)
Conduct health and safety observations as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)
Conduct Accident/ Incident Investigations as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)
Comply with your duties as prescribed by your local legal jurisdiction.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of proven sales experience with emphasis on business-to business selling, “cold-calling” and generating sales from personal networking and lead generation.
Knowledge of commercial service sales concepts, practices and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and strong relationship-management and coaching skills.
Ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
Ability to work cooperatively with technical, administrative and support staff.
Solid skills working with Microsoft Office, contact management software and databases
Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Knowledge of the commercial HVAC industry preferred
Self-starter with a desire to learn and to grow the business.
