In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of Concours Mold Group of Companies, the General Manager of Services Division is responsible for directing, coaching, and supporting their team and General Manager with an expertise in the injection mold industry. Reporting to the* President, the General Manager of Services Division *ensures the team meets or exceeds all goals and objectives required from this department.


On a daily basis:

  • Maintain safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized, and adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain overview of the status and progress of all products going through each facility
  • Drive of first time quality and 100% on time delivery with General Manager
  • Address and resolve critical issues working with the Director of Program Management
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce overall lead time and improve quality including implementing 6s (across all locations)
  • Work with the GM to provide all related information to the CMI Management Team
  • Ensure customer standards and expectations are met from a quality and service standpoint from each manufacturing site
  • Review work load to ensure weekly and monthly sales goals are achieved or surpassed
  • With assistance of the Corporate Human Resources, motivate, mentor, promote and discipline employees as required
  • Ensure and approve all expenditures are challenged at the necessary levels of decision making to achieve weekly and monthly financial targets
  • Drive lean principle thru out each facility to establish standard operating procedures and policies


  • Establish timelines with General Manager to effectively organize resources and ensure that customers consistently are given priority
  • Working with each General Manager to ensure all employees of Concours Mold adhere to Company policies
  • Regularly communicate new product launches and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Understand and present the company as a global provider to new clients while maintaining a firm knowledge of each locations capability
  • Understand and control hourly employee schedules to minimize waste and overtime
  • AOP requirements for each facility to drive the P&L
  • Review and approve monthly Health and Safety meeting minutes
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions as per the DOA
  • Be a coach, mentor and trainer to all employees
  • Listen to what people are saying and communicate to leadership team to ensure all employee voices are being heard


  • Participate in required meetings and training as required
  • Travel when required
  • Other duties as assigned or when required for this position



  • Engineering, Business and Lean Training


  • 8-10 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience
  • Management experience
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
  • Enovia and/or Catia training or experience an asset
  • Experience in injection molding is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Proficient in time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines as required
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Experience in Lean Principles (PDCA, 5Y, 6S, etc.)
