As an Analyst, Developer and Administrator of Jira and Confluence Collaborative Tools, you support IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and upgrading computer networks, management systems and database servers to ensure the integrity of data and to meet the organization's needs.

You analyze and diagnose complex issues; provide opinions based on your discipline’s rules; recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs; and propose implementation plans. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You coordinate the planning, design and execution of projects and initiatives. You help solve complex problems requiring comprehensive analysis and knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields.

You serve as subject matter expert for your unit, clients and partners.

More specifically, you will administer the Jira and Confluence systems in order to meet the needs of various users and to quickly resolve incidents when they occur. You will support the configuration needs of the development teams and administer applications, including their servers and databases.

Additional responsibilites

Configure the tools and functionalities associated with Jira and Confluence
Administer the Jira and Confluence applications
Create Jira projects
Create reports using JQL
Create workflows (extensive knowledge of triggers, conditions, validators and post functions)
Create forms (knowledge of screens and customized fields)
Draft, update and post information regarding the efficient use of tools, practices, procedures and information required for their support
Provide the required support and coaching to development teams to ensure the proper application of technology tools and practices
Act as an expert advisor in your field of expertise, carry out needs analyses and identify technical solutions using Confluence, Jira or Atlassian Marketplace plugins

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience

Scrum Master certification (Scrum Master training) (an asset)
For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge

In-depth knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Knowledge of Jira Data Center (an asset)
Understanding of the JQL programming language (an asset)
Knowledge of Script Runner (scripts in Groovy language), Bitbucket, Team calendars, All-in-One Reports, Tempo timesheets, Structure and Portfolio for Jira (an asset)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of English, intermediate level
