We are currently looking for an orthosis-prosthesis technician to perform a part-time replacement (4 days/week) within the rehabilitation team at Ste-Anne's Hospital under the direction of support for the autonomy of the elderly (SAPA).
Person who designs, constructs or supervises the construction of, adjusts, repairs or alters orthotics and/or prosthetics according to medical prescriptions for the purpose of enhancing the functional independence of beneficiaries; participates in their rehabilitation; helps in the initiation and training of staff.
- Must have a diploma of college studies with a core concentration in orthotics and prosthetics techniques from a school recognized by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.
- Must be a member of the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec.
- Bilingual orally and in writing.
- Experience in adjusting and modifying mobility aids (wheelchair, wheelchair, motorized wheelchair).
