As Incident and Problem Management Advisor, you support IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and upgrading computer networks, management systems and database servers in accordance with the organization’s needs.

You advise and assist clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives related to incident prevention, corrective action, IT infrastructure updates, rollout and post-rollout. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

You serve as subject matter expert for your unit, clients and partners.

Specifically, you will play an active role during major incidents, representing the Telecom and Security groups. You will coordinate the management of non-major incidents with multiple groups and act as the resource person for requestors.

You will be responsible for organizing the taskforce as needed, holding scrums on service stability and implementing action plans to ensure system stability. You will also produce reports on the stability of systems for which you are responsible, harmonize activities with other sectors and partners, as well as produce progress reports and action plans. You will belong to one or more squads, and will handle incident-related vulnerabilities and ORPs.

You will produce quantified statuses and dashboards and will assist with report automation. You will be part of a group dedicated to this function within the organization.

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of a relevant experience in incident management for a large organization, including the coordination of activities that involve a lot of stakeholders, the production of executive communications, reports, recommendations and action plans to evolve our processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
