ELECTRICAL ENGINEER- ROLLING STOCK
Join us as an Electrical Engineer and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St. Bruno.
As an Electrical engineer, you will be responsible of the power supply functions (line voltage, auxiliary electrical supply, battery supply, diesel & hydraulic supply) and traction and power distribution architecture within the product Family. You will undertake delegated responsibilities from the Lead Electrical Architect of the product family.
Your responsibilities will include:
Vehicle concept definitions and architectures;
Design calculations and simulations necessary to define and/or validate architectures (e.g. electrical loads consumption, high level traction performance calculations, circuit protection);
Requirements specifications for ROQ and ROS regarding electrical components and wiring, earthing and circuit protection;
Elaborate type tests specifications and verify test reports to validate electrical architecture scope;
Attend 4S design reviews, verify requirements implementation, ensure building block performances and escalate issues to the lead electrical architecture of the product family.
Engineering Degree or equivalent;
Minimum four (4) years of experience on specialized knowledge;
Understanding of the main functions of the designed system, and of the corresponding influences and interfaces;
Excellent communications skills in English and French.
