About Us:
Cross Country Infrastructure Services Inc. (CCIS), is a rapidly growing pipeline/industrial supply and rental company with locations in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. We are currently on the hunt for an energetic individual to join our Yard Personnel / Transportation Co-ordinator team to assist with various facets of our yard maintenance requirements and Transportation needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar capacity and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time opportunity, based out of our branch in Spruce Grove, BC; local applicants strongly preferred.

Duties:

  • Execute shipping and receiving tasks
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Utilize forklifts, loaders and move other construction equipment
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of equipment and supplies stored in the yard
  • Carry out basic administrative tasks as necessary

Skills/Abilities:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with other roles and departments
  • Sound problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to keep track of transportation details
  • Ability to operate power/heavy equipment i.e. loader, skid-steer, forklift, pallet jacks, other construction equipment
  • Knowledge of equipment, tools and parts used in the pipeline industry
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, perform repetitive motions/tasks and generally exert oneself physically
  • Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments; tolerance for cold/adverse weather

Qualifications:

  • Class 4 or 5
  • Certification in any or all of the following: loader, skid-steer, forklift considered an asset (proof of which should be provided upon application)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a warehousing/shipping and receiving or similar role
  • Experience within the oil and gas sector and/or industrial construction industry is desirable

Travel:

  • Occasional out of town/overnight travel

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Benefits after 3 months of employment

  • Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from work
