We are currently looking for a HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Technician to join our team. The HRIS Technician will be responsible for the administration of day-to-day people data and documents, and will provide technical and administrative support on confidential data and information.

Reporting to the Director of Payroll, the HRIS Technician’s main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Import employee data for all new and rehired employees.
Review data on the import file and take action to correct erroneous or missing information.
Validate and process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, vacation requests, terminations, etc.
Run reports regularly to ensure quality of data and flag any corrections required.
Respond to requests for information from Service Canada and other third parties as needed.
Provide confirmations of employment, verbal and written, as requested.
Review and process all forms related to group insurance.
Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements


Post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources, management or related discipline.
1 - 2 years experience in a HRIS or HR data management role.
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or another HRIS considered an asset.
Excellent technical abilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS).
Exceptional attention to detail and committed to a high degree of accuracy.
Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A clear sense of urgency to achieve results.
Keen sense of time management and flexibility.
A team player who builds strong relationships based on trust and integrity.
Embrace continuous improvement by proposing new and/or better ways of doing things.
