*Diagnose, assign and repair equipment.

*Assist in maintaining a current inventory of supplies and equipment.

*Work with D&G Manager to establish an effective and efficient system of routine maintenance and preventative care.

*Assist in keeping a system for the receipt and issuance of parts and supplies and the keeping of records and inventories.

*Arrive to work on time and attend work on a regular basis with days missed not affecting the quality of transportation services.

*Devote the time and energy needed to complete tasks.

*Attend appropriate in-service-training, workshops etc.

*Promote high standards of safety and good housekeeping methods in all work-connected areas.

*Attends meetings with D&G personnel to ensure quality services to the district.

*Other duties may from time to time be assigned by Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

*Literacy in the English language.

*Demonstrated success in performing a wide variety of tasks requiring an understanding of mechanical repair.

*Demonstrates ability to work and communicate effectively with the general public and other employees.

*Is considerate, courteous, and treats others with respect.

*Strives to keep current with trends directly related to his/her position

Class 2 with air drivers license is required
