Reporting to the Manager (Training), our Canadian Red Cross Instructors are responsible for delivering First Aid, CPR, First Responder and/or Emergency Medical Responder courses for Columbia Medical Training and Heartsafe EMS, both of which are approved Canadian Red Cross Training Partners.

This is a casual, contractor (non-employee) position. We offer a flat daily rate based on the current Red Cross instructor certification you hold and are qualified to instruct. You will carry the same daily rate no matter what level you are actually instructing that day (ie. EMR qualified instructors make their EMR rate, even when instructing Standard First Aid):

Working schedules will vary each month based on our needs and your submitted availability. We currently have a need for instructors who want to work only a few days a month, as well as those looking for hours closer to full-time work.

We are able to deliver courses across BC thanks to our unique business model which leverages our position as one of the largest private providers of first aid, CPR and pre-hospital care training in the province to provide student-centered training at competitive rates.
