TEAM LEAD, ENROLMENT (TEAM LEAD II)

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Student Records, the Team Lead is responsible for the effective management, organization and development of the Enrolment Unit. The Enrolment Unit is responsible for all course registration activity, grade administration, transcript and credential production, determining eligibility for graduation, verifying enrolment, and maintaining official student records.

The Team Lead oversees the unit’s day-to-day operations and also assists in developing and implementing process changes to increase efficiency. The Team Lead provides input in strategic registration and records management planning to help facilitate positive student experiences that contribute to the college’s goals. The role’s duties require that the Team Lead act as an internal and external liaison with and for the college on all matters that relate to enrolment policies and procedures. The Team Lead promotes a student-centered approach and ensures that high quality services are provided to meet the changing needs of students and the NorQuest College community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the day to day operations of the unit, including the supervision and regular feedback to Enrolment staff.
Support in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development of staff .
Represent Enrolment in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Adhere to business service standards.
Assist in developing and implementing new service delivery standards and operational policies and procedures.
Ensure staff data entry and other work are timely and correct.
Oversee the unit’s strategic communications to students in conjunction with Associate Registrar, Student Records.
Use, request, and revise queries and reports to support the unit’s work and college priorities.
Interpret and disseminate enrolment reports, directives, policies and guidelines for the college community.
Identify and resolve difficult enrolment-related student issues.
Advise and recommend solutions to changing enrolment and student records requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant university degree is required
3-5 years of related experience within post-secondary institution is required; specifically in a lead or supervisory role.
Registration and records management experience using a student information system is required.
Supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong MS Office skills
Must have knowledge of registration best practices and privacy legislation
Knowledge of PeopleSoft an asset

SALARY: $65,318 – $84,817 per annum plus immediate participation in our comprehensive pension and benefits plans.
