The world needs more Canada! Fresh Tracks Canada wants an SEO specialist to help bring the inspiration of the True North to as many people as possible across all digital channels.

This role is being created alongside a major project to revitalise our brand strategy and will be instrumental in growing organic web traffic through content and SEO strategy.

What you’ll be doing:
Develop and execute SEO strategies across all Fresh Tracks websites alongside the marketing and development teams

Work with the Digital Product Strategist to implement the brand vision across new web platforms

Be fully accountable for the growth of organic traffic to our websites

Perform SEO audits on our existing website properties and deliver actionable roadmaps for their technical improvement

Define clear, measurable, SEO goals and KPIs

Conduct keyword research to guide and optimize website content creation and landing pages

Complete regular reporting and competitor analysis which includes traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects

Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends

Develop and expand keyword inventory to provide direction and insight into content development. Develop strategies to broaden keyword relevance and search term matches.

Analyze keywords and search strategy for major competitors

Maintain an appropriate link building strategy

Deliver a monthly report of SEO performance,and provide executive data as needed

Who you are:
5+ years working as an SEO or related type of consultant, marketer, specialist, or manager, in-house or agency side

Proven track record of implementing successful SEO strategies which drive growth online in organic search traffic and conversion - this may have included content creation

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Strong quantitative skills; ability to build mathematical models, eg. around experimentation / significance

Played a key SEO role in a successful website development project

Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting of results and meaningful patterns and insights

Strong communication skills; ability to present in one-to-one, or one-to-many scenarios

Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, SEMrush, Moz) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)

Comfort working with Engineering teams and understanding their processes
