We are looking to hire a Manager Business Development Project Logistics for our office based in Montreal. As Business Development Manager, you must be able to fluently communicate in English and French languages.As Business Development Manager, you will be the key person for all sales and business development activities in the assigned region. The main area of operation is Eastern Canada. Focus industries are Industrial key accounts, large scale Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) projects as well as Oil & Gas, Mining and Marine logistics solutions.
- Develop business for the Kuehne+Nagel Project Logistics department based on set gross profit targets

Be the strategic point of contact for development of Kuehne+Nagel’s solution aligning with Project Managers and Business Unit Managers

Execute the business plan for strategic customers and maintain alignment with all stakeholders

Build the business development solutions for strategic customers.

Maintain communication channels with strategic customers and Kuehne+Nagel operations to deliver customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timelines, costs and results.

Bid owner for RFI/RFQ.

Drive yearly strategic market analysis.

Conduct regular and structured business reviews with strategic customers, introducing processes for innovation and continuous improvement.

Build and strengthen strategic relationships within the strategic customers organization in order to understand and maximize opportunities.

Leverage best practice solutions and process improvements from across the global business to continually deliver value to customer’s dynamic supply chain.

Deliver account development reports to Kuehne+Nagel management.

- 5+ years working in freight forwarding project logistics environment.

2+ years working in Oil and Gas, Construction, or Marine industry.

Fluent in English and French languages.

Project-planning, creating project procedures, KPI's and implementation experience a requirement.

EPC project planning and execution experience a requirement.

Fully conversant with multi-modal transportation in a project environment.

Diploma level in business or trade and transport related courses.
