Your Opportunity:
This exciting new "Success/Wellness Coach" position, based out of Oyen, will provide project coordination and support to the Mental Health Capacity Building (MHCB) team responsible for developing, implementing and delivering developmentally appropriate, evidence based programming that meets the mandate and objectives of the MHCB initiative. The Success/Wellness Coach is required to provide a high standard of professionalism and demonstrate flexibility, initiative and responsiveness. The incumbent is required to have effective communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to understand both impact of the team’s work. The incumbent will be active in the delivery of programming involves large and small group work in schools and community settings, and focuses on increasing knowledge, building skills and fostering abilities that enable others to better their own mental health and wellness.

Required Qualifications:
A related post-secondary degree or diploma in health or social sciences, or relevant course and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years working experience in addiction and mental health or health/human services related role preferred (experience as a practicum student considered). Knowledge of addiction and mental health is required. Familiar with the developmental, educational, emotional, social and recreational needs of children, youth and families.
