Job Description:

Select is looking for a temporary HR Coordinator for our client. The successful candidate will oversee the recruitment, selection, & onboarding process of new employees and assisting with employee relations.

Compensation & Hours:

· The rate of pay will be around $60K/year

· Start date is expected to be around mid-July

· This position is an 18-24 month contract

Position Summary:

· Advertising for positions, screening and responding to applications, conducting interviews, and making selection recommendations

· Drafting offer letters, scheduling training, and ensuring all documentation is completed

· Communicating information to employees

· Daily administration of benefits program

· Generating reports and spreadsheets

· Participating in HR projects and programs development

Required Qualifications:

· Previous experience in recruitments, payroll, benefits, employee relations,

· 3-5 years of previous experience in an HR Coordinator role

· Post-secondary education in HR or related field

· Knowledgeable and creative in recruitment strategies

· Confidence to make suggestions on progressive discipline, talent development, and best HR practices

· Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner

· Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and verbal

· Excellent Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
