Job Description

Under the authority of the supervisor, the licensee must produce molten metals :

OPÉRATOR

Read and understand the working instructions
Mix the crucible and remove the mixer
Install the pump and preheat with the torch
Install the bubbling
Preheat the molds
Change the batch (punch)
Change the nitrogen and oxygen bottles
Weigh the “tare” pallets 20-30 lbs
Make the labels
Preheat machine and pouring spouts
Raise or lower temperature control
Empty the crucible "bottom" in a mold using a ladle
Weight to lift 50 lbs max.
Lead blank: 110 lbs (loading)
Forklift driving for loading metals in the oven
Carry out the chemical treatment

MANUAL POURING :
Read and understand the work instructions
Level the tables
Prepare the punches
Understand the temperature controls
Decontaminate the working instruments
Mix the metal during production
Punch the bars

CASTING TANK :
50 lbs maximum
Lift 32 ’’ x 34 ’’ tall
Move 2 feet maximum
Rotate 180 °
Site maintenance

ANNUAL INVENTORY

Participate in annual inventories
Weigh the materials and enter the weights according to the list provided and according to the lot number
Label the inventoried products

CHIMICALS TREAMENTS

According to the work instructions, prepare the registered products according to the required quantity (50 lbs bag)
Mixer at high speed, introduce into the vortex the given quantity
Let the treatment act and dispense
Take a sample
Always decontaminate the work tools before treatment.

Qualifications

Has a secondary school diploma (D.E.S) or equivalent;
Good understanding of French and / or English;
Practical experience of at least one (1) year in the industrial environment;
