As Advisor, Business Intelligence, you will assist with market analysis in order to support the organization’s decision-making process, particularly with regard to developing, executing and evaluating marketing strategies. You will conduct research and analyze surveys. You will produce reports on market opportunities and formulate recommendations.

You will advise and coach dedicated clients and partners in connection with key intervention and development mandates in your field. You will recommend solutions for improving or optimizing standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives will require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You will develop recommendations, solutions and action plans in line with the organization’s orientations and objectives. You will help the team to solve complex problems. This will require close analysis and in-depth understanding of the line of business. Coordination is critical, meaning you will be required to interact with a large number of stakeholders working in a variety of areas of expertise. Therefore, you will need highly developed interpersonal skills.

Additional responsibilities

Identify and analyze statistical analysis requirements within the framework of business development projects in order to apply appropriate statistical methodologies
Prepare reports and recommend actions that support the business development of clients and distribution networks. Assist partners in interpreting and using analysis results and market information
Interpret and communicate the results of exploratory analysis and of identified business opportunities to partners; advise them on the implementation of product/program development projects, marketing campaigns, segmentation strategies, market launches, and recruitment campaigns
Participate in the implementation of statistical methodologies
Develop or participate in the development, maintenance and update of a variety of databases and segmentation tools for target clients. Monitor market potential indicators, prepare the findings and formulate recommendations
Represent the unit in dealings with various working groups, and advise them on how to use and interpret market analysis results and information
Help establish relational marketing campaigns, analyze results, perform statistical follow-ups and formulate recommendations

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience
Data analysis and modelling experience

Specific knowledge

Familiarity with group retirement savings (an asset)
Knowledge of SAS, PowerBI, Tableau (an asset)
Thorough understanding of business intelligence (an asset)
Proficient speaker, advanced knowledge of English, both oral and written
