ATCO Frontec is seeking a Facilities Sales Manager to join our North American Operations department in Calgary, AB. The position is responsible for identifying and successfully pursuing new Facilities Maintenance (FM) business opportunities for Frontec in North America.

We are seeking for an individual who is well-familiar with remote facilities & camp operations, Federal Government contracts, energy sector, airports, institutions and other related industries. The ideal candidate will be energetic, aggressive self-starter with well-developed sales skills including excellent negotiation, prospecting, presentation, and verbal & written communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Create sales proposals that will lead to the negotiation of a binding customer contract;
Participates in the contract negotiation with the clients.
Participates in the handover of successful bids to the operations team.
Participates in the preparation of the proposals (technical writing, pricing) and ensures that all documentation is ready and accurate for review.
Build strong understanding of ATCO Frontec solution set and market position.
Support with market research that provides analysis supporting strategy and prospect development.
Prospect via industry periodicals, internet, contacts and existing clients.
Participate in discussions with clients which may include special interest groups such as First Nations communities.
Build community and client relationships.
Develop presentations for community and client meetings.
Monitor ATCO competitors, conduct market survey including their activity and related strategies.
Participate in relevant organizations, seminars and trade shows.
Develop and coordinate bids and presentations;
Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business;

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, or engineering
Five or more years of experience in a similar industry, including a track record of success in the facility maintenance industry
Excellent analytical and research skills, as well as the initiative to make cold calls to prospective new clients
Ability to operate efficiently in a project-oriented environment
Great communications skills both verbal and written
Basic knowledge with Microsoft word, excel, outlook
Ability to forecast short to long-term market potential
Solid interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships
Ideal Candidate will be an aggressive salesperson who can work under pressure and motivated to wins business.
