The role will lead and manage the Education and Transition team across the country. It is a market facing role with a strategic focus on results. The successful candidate must be able to effectively manage people and performance and contribute to the next stage of growth for the GRS business.
Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Education and Transition team members, operational processes, best practices and efficiencies.
Articulate and develop the GRS strategy for how we conduct education in the future including use of technology, licensing of all team members and market positioning.
Develop and lead execution of the transition strategy for GRS and identify opportunities for a ONE Desjardins experience
Coach, develop and maintain financial wellness capability across all team members.
Lead and participate in strategic initiatives representing the education and transition team in GRS
Present to clients, participate in prospective client meetings including sales presentations and developing relationships with external consultants and advisors.
Lead and support development of the team in terms of coaching with the ability to share constructive and timely feedback with team members and ensuring identified goals are achieved throughout the year.
Acting in the best interest of Desjardins clients and members leverage the to increase team accountability, outcome based results and ensuring overall reporting, at a client level, consultant and advisor level.
Work with the team to continuously build and identify a new and progressive curriculum/content to support 400,000 plan members and 5,000 clients
Lead and contribute to the education and transition strategy including process improvements, efficiency gains and increasing market share.
Responsible for the management of the financial budget and performance.
Identify technology initiatives to be used by the team, keep current and ahead of market trends in the best interest of our clients and members.
Oversee the licensing of the team and ongoing governance of services deployed
Actively participate in key GRS projects, including, but not limited to Financial Wellness and Decumulation.

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of eight years of a relevant experience
