Job Title: Material Handler
Shift: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM
$18-$19/hour, dependant on experience

About the Role:
RFRK’s Material Handlers (MH) are responsible for receiving all our delicious ingredients and ensuring our inventory counts are verified, and meet our quality standards. This role is responsible for putting away product, rotating inventory, entering inventory values into our internal systems, and maintaining organization within all inventoried areas of our building. This particular position is incremental, and will bear direct responsibility for managing the inventory and rotation of our finished goods.
The successful candidate must have the ability and experience to operate and maintain warehouse equipment, like manual and electric pump trucks and forklifts.
Some of the things you’ll get paid to do:
Receive all deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
Verify receiving documentation such as delivery receipts, invoices and packing slips against purchase orders and receiving calendar
Update receiving calendar and communicate discrepancies or rejections/returns
Unload and load delivery trucks and move product into storage, fridges and freezers
Safely operate and maintain pump trucks, forklifts or other related warehouse equipment
Complete packing slips, waybills, and bills of lading as well as prepare packages for any returned goods or items being repaired
Entering all inbound material details into our ERP
Inventory and Quality Control
Track on hand quantities and locations of finished goods
Manage, store, count, rotate and organize inventory utilizing proper methods and procedures
Verify product quality and temperature of goods coming into the facility, recording information as required
Utilize warehouse expertise to establish a strategy for continuous improvement in warehouse and inventory management
Staging & Other
Prepare, stage and transfer inventoried product to adhere to production timelines
Identify any potential shortages or quality issues to the appropriate parties in advance to avoid delays
3+ years of warehouse experience
Forklift certifications/licence (Reach truck and walking tow motor)
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), comfortable with internet navigation and communication via email
Good written and oral understanding of the English language
Safety and detail oriented
Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills
Adaptability, willingness to grow, and proven aptitude for continuous learning
Experience working in a HACCP certified environment
Experience in food manufacturing or the restaurant industry
Knowledge of determining good produce quality
