Shouldice Designer Stone in Shallow Lake, Ontario is a progressive and growing manufacturer. We are looking to fill a Bilingual Customer Service & Construction Expert role in the company, requiring an experienced and detail-oriented person fluent in both English & French.

The Customer Service Expert (Bilingual) will work out of our company Head Office in Shallow Lake and will support all Quebec-based and French Speaking customers as well as support the English-speaking team by taking on Anglophone customers as part of their portfolio. Providing best-in-class service, this role will give the successful candidate an amazing foundation to continue to growth within the business as you will interface with Sales and Production.

Responsibilities will include

· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all customers: French and English speaking;

· Order entry and verification through our ERP system (M1 for Manufacturing);

· Reply to customer inquiries for order status and pricing updates in an accurate and immediate manner;

· Respond to Sales and customer requests promptly for expediting orders;

· Maintain and grow customer base by providing outstanding customer service and opportunities to up-sell.

Requirements

This role will have an opportunity to be part of a close knit and innovative team. The successful candidate will ideally bring a mixture of strong customer service, technical capabilities and manufacturing experience, relying on prior experience and judgment to plan and accomplish objectives.

In addition to those items, we are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in sales/customer service, servicing a blend of English/French customers
  • Be fluently bilingual (English/French) in both written and verbal communication;
  • Excellent telephone manner and written word in e-mail format to customers;
  • Building Industry knowledge and construction background required;
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skill set including Excel;
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment an asset;
  • Good time management skill set;
  • Strong team player;
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail;
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
