The Senior Organization Development Advisor will provide solutions and consultative services to internal clients ranging from technical professionals to senior leadership to make a difference in patient’s lives.
Supporting effective leadership practices and increasing capacity is our objective. You will apply expertise in the implementation, co-design, delivery and evaluation of:
Talent management solutions including selection, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning to guide the progression of leaders based on UHN’s leadership strategy.
Engagement surveys and action planning including vendor management; planning, communications and project management of surveys and reports; rsearching best practice, co designing solutions, and supporting clients to action plan based on results to increase engagement.

University degree required; relevant post graduate degree desirable
A minimum of 10 years in leadership talent management experience
5+ years experience with all aspects of managing a team of direct report staff
Demonstrated experience applying adult learning, self-awareness and change principles to the design of experiential learning that converts to changed habits and leadership practices
Expert facilitation and problem solving skills at all levels of leadership required
Experience applying assessment tools, providing debriefs, and coaching on development strategies required
Experience with change management practices to support organization initiatives, and to increase leadership capability to effectively lead those change initiatives
Superior interpersonal skills; empathetic style; able to gain trust and partner with peers and leaders on difficult tasks and conversations
Strong project planning skills to manage multiple demands in parallel
Strong ability to take the customer’s perspective and view issues through different lenses to co-create effective solutions
Able to use resourceful approaches to arrive at cost effective, simple solutions
