KPMG’s People & Change practice has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Consultant to join the Montréal office team.

KPMG’s People and Change practice helps organizations drive business value and achieve operational excellence through the optimization of their people and people agenda. In Canada, we have over 60 People and Change practitioners across the country and growing and over 1,100 professionals across the globe delivering strategic and operational consulting services related to organizational effectiveness, human resource planning and transformation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in engagements to deliver strategic, operational, and tactical advice and support to help clients achieve business, employee, and customer success
  • Prepare high quality deliverables according to client requirements through creative thinking, cognitive intelligence, market analysis and a genuine drive to provide great professional service
  • Contribute to hands-on delivery of core analysis responsibilities including primary and secondary research, quantitative data collection and analysis, business analysis, and application of frameworks and methodologies to achieve client objectives
  • Assist with the creation of proposals and other business development activities to help meet revenue targets
  • Work independently and in teams as required

At times, employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities of their roles on client engagements and internal projects. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility in work hours provides for this.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Commerce, Behavioral Sciences, or other related field with a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior or Industrial/Organizational Psychology an asset
  • Minimum 1.5 year of experience in three or more (in combination) of the following areas:
  • Organizational Change Management
  • Organizational Effectiveness
  • People Analytics and Workforce Planning (including practical Data Management experience)
  • Learning and Development / ERP Training
  • HRM (talent management, operational health and safety, organizational development, performance management, HR strategy)
  • HRMS implementation (Workday or Oracle preferred)
  • Consulting experience (preferably external client-facing vs. internal)
  • Experience working in a client-facing role across a variety of industries and businesses with a passion for delivery high quality service and client satisfaction
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international team environment and lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, with experience developing compelling proposals, reports, presentations, articles, and research papers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work creatively to address client requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Bilingualism required
