Human Resources Overview: Human Resources will serve the Agency as a strategic partner providing a full range of duties within human resources management services, including but not limited to; leadership and guidance in the development, implementation and justifiable administration of policies and procedures, fostering a positive work environment, employee empowerment and involvement, sustainability, teamwork, continuous improvement, compliance with Federal, Province and local laws pertaining to employment standards and human rights, and exceptional customer services. Human Resources will manage these activities in an effective, fair, legal and consistent manner.
As a strategic partner, Human Resources works in partnership with managers and their teams, with individual employees and other groups to provide programs and services that create a work environment of employee empowerment and involvement within the Agency. Position Summary: The Senior Human Resources Administrator position assists the Human Resources Director, in directing all Human Resources activities for the Agency by: compiling, maintaining and processing information relating to recruitment, orientation, benefits, safety, labour relations, performance evaluations and classifications. To work towards the common goals of the department with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Maintain attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures set forth by Kigep Management Ltd. (CLAS/EIS/KCSP).
You will bring: We are look for a human resources generalist who is a self-starter possessing the ability to prioritize, organize, effectively communicate, have an eye for detail, are able to multi task, and meet deadlines. You will work well in both a team based environment as well as individually with little supervision. You will be highly proficient working within a Windows software environment (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) along with a high comfort for learning/using a custom designed Human Resources Management system. You will have strong interpersonal and decision making/judgment skills and are not afraid to handle or confront difficult situations. You should have at least 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources role. Preference will be given to those candidates that have a background in recruitment, disability management, and have a Human Resources Certificate. You will maintain a high level of customer service internal or external to the agency and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 4:30pm
