Must be able to work as part of a management team to operate within a full service Hotel environment, must be hands on and operate a 80 seat restaurant/kitchen in a fast paced environment as well provide food services to hotel guests, bar patrons and limited banquet events.
- Must be Whimmis certified
-Fully knowledgeable in all applicable Health codes and compliant with same
-Human resource knowledgeable for staffing, hiring, scheduling, discipline, training both front of the house and back of the house all within a designated budget.
Posses food cost, labour cost, budgeting, purchasing, stock control, inventory control capabilities and be able to provide excellent customer service goals and experiences as part of the overall management team.
-minimum 5 years hands on experience in management, cooking, serving in a full service restaurant or hotel setting.
-Criminal back ground check required.
-Must be willing to relocate
-Potential lease opportunity upon proper evaluation and employment
-Must be computer literate as well as knowledgeable in POS operating systems
-Must be a resident of Canada and preferably Manitoba but willing to consider out of province applicants.
-Must possess a full understanding of the Canadian Dietary food guide as well as Indigenous cuisine, being creative and knowledgeable in a variety of food products available.
