The Ministry of Central Services has an exciting opportunity for a positive, self-motivated and results-oriented Executive Assistant to join the Communications team.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications, the Executive Assistant will demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. The role is accountable for maintaining processes as well as ensuring administrative standards are met and materials are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.

Duties include:
Assisting the Executive Director by organizing, scheduling, planning and attending meetings and other events, including coordination of travel and event logistics;
Budget and forecasting support including invoice and purchasing card payments;
Working with the team to procure print, design, advertising, photography and other services;
Daily management of Saskatchewan.ca web inquiries – directing any general email inquiries from the website to the appropriate ministry and contact person for response;
Formatting and preparing a weekly communications calendar of activities and monthly information-sharing across the ministry; and
HR support to assist the Executive Director and Director in the staffing process using Taleo, onboarding and offboarding, maintenance of branch organizational chart, and any branch HR issues.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through a combination of formal education and experience in a senior administrative position.
