We are looking for an energetic person that enjoys working with people from different areas across the business to help the Burnaby PMO office managing our increasing number of hardware projects for indoor and outdoor power systems for the Telecommunications Industry. This role will be reporting into the Director of Program Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in planning and managing programs through the complete Product Lifecycle from Concept to Obsolescence.
Develop and manage integrated program plans, schedules and budgets.
Define and document project tasks and resource requirements.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope as well as changes to the project plan and status reports.
Prepare for, administer and document project meetings.
Provide regular detailed program status to stakeholders.
Analyze project outcomes to determine future improvements.
Ensure design release and production readiness reviews are held with all key stakeholders to ensure designs meet business and customer’s requirements prior to moving to next design phase.
Proactively identify and manage risks to ensure program deliverables are met within schedule and budget
Support the development and implementation of best-in-class new product development and project management practices.
Performing other duties as required by Director of Program Manager.
A minimum of 1-2yrs experience in project management or 3-5 yrs experience in a high-tech product development environment.
B.Eng or B.A.Sc. in Electronic or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a definite asset
