Barminco Canada Mining Services Ltd is currently has an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Accounts Payable officer to join our Operations Team at Williams Mine, Hemlo Operations, working an ongoing 5 days on / 2 days off drive in/drive out roster living locally.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for entire accounts payable function.

Duties & responsibilities
Proactively liaise with Suppliers, the Order Department, and Warehouse teams
Check and accurately enter local invoices as per AP process
Pay local creditors as per payment schedule
Assist with Supplier queries
Effectively manage the AP inbox
Reconciliation of expense claims/Petty Cash
Reconciliation of Supplier accounts
Assist with general clerical duties as required
Skills & Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable
Competent with Microsoft Excel
Ability to work at a remote site.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
A true team player committed to supporting the company
High level attention to detail
Ability to work within a group
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to plan ahead
Ability to work in a high-volume environment
A qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (i.e. Certificate IV in Accounting, Bookkeeping or a Diploma of Accounting) - advantageous
Experience with Pronto Software - advantageous
