Our Client is a world leading Oil and gas Producer with a well-balanced portfolio of high quality assets
Create SCM work plan for Sourcing, Materials Management and Vendor Management
Compile and analyze quarterly spend data and ensure the work plan is still on track
Manage the strategic sourcing and category management process for all categories
Create and maintain a plan to utilize owned surplus equipment in the most cost-effective way
Work with field operations to ensure accuracy of inventory, including annual cycle count process
Review inventory lists for potential status updates & keep system up to date with equipment status changes
Act as focal point for all surplus equipment sales
Manage purchasing and replenishment of tubing inventory when required
Manage the sale of junk tubing and sucker rods as required
Own and maintain Approved Vendor Requirements, including vendor compliance software, and ensuring that vendors list is kept up to date
Negotiate Master Service Agreement/Terms & Conditions as required
Set up new vendors
Minimum 10-15 years of progressive supply chain experience in the areas outlined above
Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or Supply Chain
Professional supply chain designation would be considered an asset
Diverse knowledge of several supply chain categories, specifically logistics (fluid hauling), drilling and completions categories, OPEX categories, and reclamation and remediation categories
Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of staff
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Development and Operations, this contract role will be responsible for the Supply Chain (SCM) function at and requires an individual that can self-manage, multi-task and function well in a busy and demanding environment. As a senior working supply chain professional, this role will be required to perform all analytics, vendor management functions, sourcing and category management functions, material management, negotiating terms and conditions, as well as other tasks as they arise. This role requires an individual with a strong SCM background with experience working in a small or single person team.
