Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipper ensures that the articles are loaded and unloaded in the production warehouse and in transport vehicles. The Shipper performs all of the following duties:
Load and unload items in trucks or other vehicles to ensure product safety and conditions;
Review and check items against purchase orders and delivery orders, note missing items and returns damaged items;
Unpack and distribute items to appropriate storage locations;
Optimally and safely use available storage areas;
Comply with the Company’s ISO 9001 standards and procedures;
Declare hazardous materials in the wrong places;
Complete shipping vouchers and other documents required for shipment;
Use forklift, truck or other equipment to load or unload, transport or store items;
Ensure the safety of the premises and advise concerned persons if certain products or equipment are unsafe or are deemed to be potentially hazardous, depending on the significance of the potential hazard.
High school diploma or equivalent;
Forklift driving training;
Experience working as a Shipper;
Methodical, manual dexterity and speed of execution;
Conscientious (handling hazardous products);
Good physical fitness;
Good understanding skills.
Full time (40h/week) permanent position;
