About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an AEOI Specialist, Private Equity and Real Estate, based in our Toronto office to join our expanding global AEOI Team. This exciting and challenging role provides opportunities to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in providing AEOI business solutions focusing on Citco’s Private Equity clients. Reporting to the Vice President(s), AEOI Services, you will be principally responsible for supporting AEOI operations for one of Citco’s largest private equity clients, in a highly dynamic environment. Acting as a key contact, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior client contacts and internal partners across global offices and business divisions to ensure a seamless delivery of service.

Automatic Exchange of Information ‘AEOI’ Services:
Citco’s AEOI team provides business solutions to investment fund clients regarding the US FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and OECD CRS (Common Reporting Standard) tax information exchange regimes.

Our AEOI solutions include:
Completion of annual regulatory filings for both FATCA and CRS
Maintaining account holder due diligence and documentation
Review/remediation of pre-existing investors as required

Job Duties in Brief:
Maintain AEOI data on entities within the client corporate structure
Monitor systems and documentation on newly organized or acquired entities, and performing IRS (Internal Revenue Service) registrations
Support daily operations for account holder documentation processes and queries
Support AEOI tax information analyses and preparation of XML format submission files
Liaise remote teams; track entity information
Local AEOI portal registration/de-registration, communication and trouble shooting

About You:
Degree qualified (preferably in a discipline relevant to Financial Services)
Experience in private equity, hedge funds, FATCA and/or CRS regulations whilst an asset, is not a requirement
