Your Opportunity:
This is a one year temporary full-time position.Reporting to the Care Manager, Learning and Development Clinic, this position provides administrative, coordination and support functions that maximize managerial and program efficiency and effectiveness of the L&D Clinic Duties include, but are not limited to: typing documents and correspondence; providing administrative support to committees; recording/transcribing minutes; creating and maintaining a filing system; scheduling meetings; collaborating with the other administrative support staff as needed; maintaining spreadsheets with clinical data and compiling statistics for monthly and annual reports. This position provides administrative support to the L&D Clinic Coordinator, Mental Health Therapists, Family Counsellor, Social Worker and Physicians.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications:
A Grade 12 diploma supplemented with additional post-secondary training in administrative/office management is required. The incumbent must have extensive, progressively responsible administrative experience, with sound analytical and problem solving skills. A minimum three years related secretarial experience is required. Competency in Microsoft Office programs including: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe is required. Must have excellent communication/interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills and be able to manage multiple priorities independently, efficiently and effectively. Strong accuracy, quality, accountability and independent decision making is required to be successful in this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Zoom would be an asset. Clinic uses Connect Care electronic medical record system, experience with this system would be an asset.
