In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) patient and staff safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Director, Brand, Digital Engagement & Innovation, the Coordinator, Print Media supports the standardization of all printed forms processes for Island Health, including Clinical Forms process, and best practices in printed materiel design, production and distribution.

The Coordinator is responsible for coordination and implementation of strategic health service performance improvement initiatives, and provides ongoing evaluation of best practices. They act as liaison between Printing Services and other departments in support of this work and facilitates process and procedure development, and evaluation of new equipment.

Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment and may require the use of a personal vehicle.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree relating to printing management such as Business Administration plus five (5) years' recent related experience in a print facility environment, including supervisory experience. Valid BC driver's license.

Skills And Abilities
Familiarity and experience with all types of print production equipment, their uses, and manufacturer recommended maintenance procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.
