Compensation: Based on experience

A valid PR or Canadian Citizenship is required
Valid driver license and your own vehicle is required

We are a small but growing Managed Services IT firm based in South Burnaby looking for an experienced IT system admin with minimum 4-5 years experience.

Job Description:
Provide hardware and software technical support to our clients
Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
Daily management and monitoring of network systems
Respond immediately to security or usability concerns
Create and verify backups of data
Respond to and resolve help desk requests
Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security
issue resolution
Administer infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
Review application logs
Install and test computer-related equipment
Experience working with GMP/GLP and computer system validation a definite asset, but not required
Experience in IT sales an asset, but not required
Web Development experience an asset

The selected candidate must:
Enjoy working with people and have strong communication skills
Work well under pressure
Be detail oriented
Work well individually or in a team environment
Be comfortable working with a variety of different hardware and software technologies incl: Sophos, Dell, Office 365, Ubiquiti, Microsoft Windows Server, Atera, Cisco, and other security technologies
